Tube Heat Exchanger

Tube heat exchangers are concentric tubes made of straight tubes of different diameters and connected by U-shaped elbows. In this heat exchanger, one fluid through the tube, the other fluid through the annular gap, both can get a higher flow rate, so the heat transfer coefficient is larger. In addition, in the casing heat exchanger, the two fluids can be pure countercurrent, the logarithmic average driving force is larger. The tube heat exchanger is simple in structure, can withstand high pressure, and convenient in application (can increase or decrease the number of pipe segments as required). Especially because the tube heat exchanger also has the advantages of large heat transfer coefficient, large heat transfer driving force and can withstand high pressure, almost all the heat exchangers used in the ultra-high pressure production process (such as the high-pressure polyethylene production process with operating pressure of 3000 atmosphere) are tube type.
